I had a right hip replaced in 2014. They had me take home therapy two days a week for four weeks. I still was having pain in my right leg. The scar tissue had built up in four places.
When I went back to my doctor who put it in, he told me to go to outpatient therapy, and I did that two times a week for six weeks. Still, there was very little help. He suggested that I go another six weeks. There was still very little relief.
Here it is 2016, and I was still having problems with my hip, especially going up steps. Being a pastor, I am always having to use steps at homes, conferences, and hospitals. Justin suggested certain types of therapies. I tried them, and now, just three months later, walking up steps is much easier and more comfortable.
